New real estate course changes in Queensland

0

The Queensland Government has announced a raft of changes to the real estate industry that includes a new type of real estate course and the introduction of an accredited qualification. The changes are intended to improve standards and training in the industry, and to help the community understand the difference between the Licensed Real Estate Agents and Licensed Real Estate Brokers.

The new courses will focus on giving participants a better understanding of how to find and value properties, while the accredited qualification will enable licensed brokers and agents to have their expertise recognized and valued. A new real estate course is set to launch in Queensland, Australia, offering students the opportunity to learn about the industry and gain a qualification that could lead to a career in the field. The course has been developed by the Queensland Department of Housing and Public Works, in partnership with TAFE Queensland, and will be delivered over a period of 12 weeks.

Why the course is needed?

With the recent release of the Queensland Government’s property report, it was revealed that the real estate industry is contributing more than $2 billion to the Queensland economy. However, the report highlighted that there is still a need for better standards of real estate training in the industry. In particular, the report recommended that there should be a clear distinction between the two licensed real estate professions, and that the government should also adopt an accreditation scheme for real estate professionals.

The new course will offer students the opportunity to learn about the industry and gain a qualification that could lead to a career in the field. The course will be delivered over a period of 12 weeks, and is suitable for those who have little or no knowledge of the industry. It will cover a range of topics, including the types of properties available, property valuations, legal requirements, and how to find a buyer and seller.

Who will benefit from the course?

The new course is intended to help students to learn about the real estate industry, as well as giving them the chance to gain a qualification that could lead to a career in the industry. There is a growing demand for people with skills in real estate, and it is expected that the new course will help to meet this demand, particularly for younger people looking to enter the industry. The course will be suitable for those who have little or no knowledge of the industry, but it will also be suitable for those who are currently working in the industry and looking to develop their skills.
